  • Each Tactile model has been designed and manufactured using quality materials that closely mimic the feel and mechanics of the joint anatomy. It is possible to perform a number of procedures multiple times on certain models. In the case of shoulder or knee skin, if you are establishing portals as part of your training you would need a new skin for each trainee/participant.

  • Our shoulder model can be set up in either beach chair position or lateral decubitus using our Shoulder Positioner.

  • Your standard instrumentation will work on the Tactile models. We also offer some basic non-sterile instrumentation if you would prefer to have instruments that are utilized solely for training purposes.

  • The design of our knee and shoulder arthroplasty models is such that they are robust enough to handle standard implants.

  • Each model is designed with different built in pathologies. The following procedures can be performed on each Tactile model:

    Sports Shoulder:

    • Labral repair

    • Rotator Cuff repair

    • Remplissage

    • DTA (Bone blocks are available)

    Arthroplasty Shoulder:

    • total shoulder arthroplasty

    • reverse shoulder arthroplasty

    Sports Knee:

    • Diagnostic Scope - this can be performed multiple times on a single model

    • Loose Body Removal - this can also be performed multiple times on the same model

    • Meniscal tears (there is an HCT built in)

    • other meniscus tears can be created and repaired

    • ACL/PCL

    • OATs and Mega Oats

    • Meniscal transplant

    Arthritic Knee:

    • Total Knee Arthroplasty

    Advanced Knee:

    There are 4 meniscus tears built into the model (Root, HCT, Vertical, radial tear)-

    • ACL/PCL deficient

    • Quad tendon harvest

    • PMC/PLC

    • HTO
